  • New Year, New (same) Us
Before getting into their year end wrap-up Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) cover a few recent reads.  They hit up this week's issue of Heroes in Crisis.  Ronnie didn't read The Silencer yet, but Aaron gives a quick update.  They sidetrack into dropping some titles in the new year, which sidetracks into the CW shows cross promoting with the comics, which sidetracks into the voice actors in the animated movies, which sidetracks into how awesome Vertigo used to be, which moves nicely actually into how terrific American Carnage is.  They move on to some quick hits - surprise books of 2018, breakout writer and artist, biggest disappointment, what they are looking forward to, and what they'd like to see happen.  The show ends with a quick talk about comic related Christmas gifts.

  • Absolute DC Dental Insurance
On this weeks episode things go a little crazy.  Aaron (@AaronSBell) tells Ronnie (@Ronbar316 3-1-6 not 3-16) all about the CW Elseworlds crossover event that Ronnie refuses to watch.  Then they cover the season finale of Titans, and their hopes for season 2.  Ronnie brings up the upcoming Doom Patrol series, where they both complain about Cyborg for a solid 40 minutes, before Aaron stumps Ronnie by asking what his hopes are for 2019 in the entire DC universe. You can tweet the show directly @DC_Absolute or email us at [email protected]

  • Have Yourself a Merry Little Podcast
On this week's episode, Aaron (@AaronSBell) gives Ronnie (@Ronbar316) the full rundown on his early Aquaman experience.  He gives a non-spoilery review and answers a couple questions Ronnie had about the movie.  Of course Titans comes up, because it's terrific, so they talk about the most recent episode and what they think will happen on the season finale.  Ronnie brings up Batman Damned, which Aaron has (surprisingly) not read yet.  And they wrap things up with a talk about the DC Universe show release schedule.

  • What's in a League?
On this week's episode Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) tackle the hard hitting questions you never knew you need answered - who from the nerdy legion would be which member of the justice league?  They cover the Hawk and Dove origin episode of Titans. The talk about the first Injustice video game, which leads to a talk about the Batman Annual #3.  Which somehow leads to a conversation about falling asleep while watching terrible kids movies.  And they wrap it all up with Shazam!'s new comic series. You can tweet the show directly @DC_Abolute or email the show [email protected]

  • Disco Nightwing?
On this week's episode Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) dive deep into the topics that matter - does Batman work out to Depeche Mode?  Is Wonder Woman into The Wallflowers?  How many Allman Brothers concerts has Superman been to?  They also cover the second issue of The Green Lantern and the premiere of Martian Manhunter.  Aaron gets excited about his early Aquaman tickets, and how he's going to spoil the movie from the theater for Ronnie.  How long are the credits in the extended Lord of the Rings movies?  The full title of the upcoming Birds of Prey movie is revealed.  They wrap things up with some Titans talk, as per usual. You can get in touch withthe show directly on twitter @DC_Absolute or email [email protected]

  • The 12th Annual First Bonus Episode Spectacular!
Someone once asked what happens when Ronnie (@Ronbar316) and Aaron (@AaronSBell) hit record, but before they start the show.  Well, this is exactly that.  Except, they hit record and started the show.  So basically it's just the two of them talking about whatever comes up.  They do circle back to talk (briefly) about a Vertigo book, so it's sort of DC Comics related, but it's mostly talking about terrible 80s movies because for some reason USA Up All Night came up.  They also talk a bit of Walking Dead comics (yay!) and tv (boo!).  Who they would pitch a comic to if they were to actually finish something.  Also, probably a lot of other stuff that Aaron cannot remember as he's typing this out.You can get in touch with the show directly on twitter @DC_Absolute or at [email protected]

  • Best Batman is the Best Batman
In this week's episode, Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) start things off with a little bit of kickstarter talk, because they seem to have an addiction.  Then since it's a DC comics podcast, of COURSE they talk a bit of X-23, because why not?  Moving on to the actual meat of the episode, they talk about whether or not Harley Quinn gets the hype.  For as popular a book as it is, no one we know ever seems to talk about it.  There's a new Young Justice trailer that Ronnie brings up, before moving on to the comics talk.  Aaron talks about what was probably his favorite single issue of a comic book in ages (Injustice 2 Annual 2), Ronnie talks about the Nuclear Winter Special, they do the Silencer talk they always do when a new issue comes out, Detective and Action Comics, and how Leviathan seems to be showing up everywhere now, and how Aaron would do that differently, and then Aaron confuses Ronnie when they talk about Heroes in Crisis 3.  They wrap things up with Ronnie trying to do some math while talking about poll results.

  • So Much to be Thankful For
On this Very Special Thanksgiving Day Special* Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) sit down to talk about all the things involving DC comics that they are thankful for.  The first of which is the terrific Plastic Man mini-series.  Actually, that's pretty much all they were thankful for.  The rest of the episode is spent making fun of each other, talking about Jason Todd on Titans, silly redone polling, HBO's Watchmen series, what could Geoff Johns have written better, and how insane people apparently are to have NYCC free programs graded. You can contact the show directly on twitter @DC_Absolute or email us at [email protected]

  • Every Vote Matters
It has finally happened, Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) agree on a book.  What book is it?  Well, you're going to have to listen to find that out.  There was a new episode of Titans that the fellas cover, and maybe a bigger surprise than them agreeing on a comic, Aaron is caught up on DC books!  They cover a bit of Sideways, Deathstroke, Detective Comics, Nightwing, The Silencer, The Green Lantern, Action Comics, Justice League, Aquaman, Titans (the comic) and ... Multiple Man?You can get in touch with the show directly @DC_Absolute and/or [email protected]

On this week's episode, Ronnie (@Ronbar316) asks Aaron (@AaronSBell) about his favorite super hero movie.  They get into a discussion about the old Superman films, and it branches off into talking the old Batman '66.  Of course with a new episode of Titans, they get into the Doom Patrol, before moving on to some comic talk.  The recent DC/Hanna Barbera crossovers are covered in depth, as well as a little bit of Heroes in Crisis issue 2.
