Absolute DC

There's a fifth Wednesday happening, so Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) preview the upcoming Deathstroke/Yogi Bear, Green Lantern/Huckleberry Hound, Nightwing/Magilla Gorilla, and Superman/Top Cat crossovers.  Ronnie catches up on Supergirl and Aaron catches up on Teen Titans and Nightwing.  Which one of the books do they argue over?  Honestly, it's probably all three, but it was mostly just one of them.  Ronnie gives his overall feelings on the Bendis Superman run, before they get a little bit into the latest issue of Titans.  They finish off the show talking about something completely on topic and meaningful - dog Halloween costumes.

On this week's episode, Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) get into an argument over how great Titans is.  One of them says it's great, and the other says it's also great. Find out who is on which side.  All of that excitement leads Aaron to go a little bit crazy about something on the show.  When the dust settles, they talk about the delays of the Wonder Woman sequel, when Young Justice is coming to the DC Universe app, and what may or may not be Bane on Gotham.  Ronnie, confuses two actors as Aaron veers the show off course to talk about the Good Place.  Then, believe it or not, Aaron has actually had time to read some comic books, so they *ghasp!* actually talk about some comics!  The end up talking about some Artgerm and creative team changes on books they enjoy.

That's right folks!  Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) have been doing this show for so long, it's time to celebrate with a giant sized anniversary spectacular!  Listen to all the guests!  Hear all the laughs!  Experience all the good times! Or...Just listen to the fellas talk about Titans and some other DC related things like pretty much every other episode.  They do talk a little about the show's history (not really) and have a super surprise guest come on and give some exclusive news (totally doesn't happen).  But it's mostly just business as usual for these two.

As you may already know from the Constantine panel episode, Aaron (@AaronSBell) was at NYCC this year as per usual.  Ronnie (@Ronbar316) sits down with him to talk about the weekend.  What were the highs and lows of the weekend?  What was his son's first convention experience like?  They also talk a little bit of comics at the end, mostly about how it seems Brian Michael Bendis will be writing Matt Kindt levels of comics a month for DC with the new announcements.

Aaron has been attending NYCC the past couple days, and managed to get into the almost full Constantine: City of Demons panel.  The clips from the film have been edited out, but the rest of the talk is intact.  I hope you enjoy this special bonus episode.

Aaron and Ronnie haven't read much lately with both having some crazy schedules, but there is one thing they agree on: they are both in Crisis. What? No. They don't agree about Heroes in Crisis #1 but Ronnie does his best to make Aaron see the good stuff he missed and what this book could mean going forward. Plus....Ronnie throws out a guess on who the main villain is behind the event. This and much more on an all new Absolute DC podcast!

In this episode... Aaron is missing.... MIA...but Ronnie is not alone. Austin, normally from Timey Wimey Podcast Hour joins to talk about his DC passion. Who's his favorite DC Character? Who does Austin say is his favorite DC Movie? What about how he would rank the Robin's? Oh yeahhhhh, it's all about crowbars, coming back and smiles in this episode.

On this week's episode, Ronnie (@Ronbar316) sits Aaron (@AaronSBell) down to ask him 20 DC related questions.  What does he cover? Well, you're going to have to listen to the episode yourself to find out.  Why, you ask?  Because this episode was recorded almost a full year ago.  Honestly, I don't remember anything that was asked or answered, so it may be a complete train wreck.  But it was recorded for a week such as this, where schedules wouldn't align to record something new.  Listen to many timely references talking about everything that was cool in October of 2017!  Maybe?  Honestly, I've got no idea. You can get in touch with the show directly through Twitter @DC_Absolute or through email [email protected]

On this week's episode, Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) catch up on the last few issues of Damage.  How do they hold up to what's happened before?  Does the Annual maintain the high level the recent Annuals have been on?  This conversation leads to a brief discussion on the rest of the New Age of Heroes books, and which books they just haven't cared enough to keep up with.  Here's a hint, it's the same books for both of them.  The go over the finale of the Batman/Deathstroke arc in the continually fantastic Deathstroke series.  This leads into some thoughts on Damian and Red Hood.  Also, is there a possible Red Hood appearance coming in either the DCEU or the Arrowverse (or i suppose the new DC Universe service)?  Ronnie reveals that he has never read Sandman, which somehow doesn't surprise Aaron.  And finally, they end up getting into the first four Jinxworld books.  Without spoiling that conversation, they both liked all four, but their rankings are wildly different.Feel free to send in any comments or questions to us @DC_Absolute or [email protected]

On this week's episode, Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) argue over planning a concert residency, because ... comics!  Then stay tuned to find out what comic reminded Ronnie of Rocky Dennis.  How long does Aaron rant about the upcoming Aquaman changes during this episode?  What makes an Annual a great book compared to just a book that comes out?  When is the DC Universe launching, and how it should launch?  How would they rank the newest wave of DC/Loony Tunes crossovers? And finally, Ronnie tries to explain Jinxworld to Aaron, without actually knowing all the facts. You can get in touch with the show directly at [email protected] or @DC_Absolute
