  • GREASE 40/20 - "Backstage"
This week we go into some backstage talk with Jon Van Geons discussing some of the parallels of the movie "Grease" from 40 years ago. Not only that, we look into even more behind-the-scenes highlights during the making of the film that will really surprise you too!
Then we look back during his time as a member of the backstage crew from his perspective 20 years ago as well including a family connection to the musical itself. And I discover something during and even before this conversation that really has me in SHOCK that I wish I could've experienced back in the day that you wouldn't even believe!!

  • GREASE 40/20 - "Sandy"
It's amazing that it's been both 40 years since the movie and 20 years since I did the high school play "Grease"!! So it's only fitting that we reflect back on both anniversaries throughout the month from various people who contributed to the high school play along with their takes on the movie itself.
Joining me in the conversation this week is none other than Yarixa McCarthy who portrayed the role of Sandy in the play from 20 years ago. We'll look at the timeline of the movie itself including the stories of Sandy, Danny and a few others along the way. Not only that, we also share some of our favorite memories from when we did the play during our high school days including how much of a Grease fanatic she was then and now!

  • "ARETHA" The Music - Terry Roseborough
She was truly a legend in the world of music from R&B, to Blues, to Soul you name it! So myself along with WCS Pro Dance Champion Terry Roseborough reflect back on when we first heard her music from the early days with our first reactions. And that's only the beginning.
We'll also discuss some of her greatest tracks that hit the airwaves including a few dancing favorites as well as the origins behind them. BTW, a HUGE credit goes to songfacts.com for providing all the research and info that you'll hear about the songs we will discuss. And of course, we also look at the singers of today that really capture the singing, producing style that the Queen of Soul was known for.

  • Stan & Saya "Just Said That?!" - PART 2
Just a note, I strongly encourage everyone to listen to Part 1 before tuning into this one.
You want more, you got it! We continue on with my conversation with Stanislav Ivanov and Saya Suzaki as they dive with more banter, more laughs and more comedy mixed with reality. They have some strictly dance stories, random things and honorable mentions that we just can't spoil.
And also, we'll talk about Saya's road to recovery after tearing her meniscus earlier this year to where she is back to kicking ass on that dance floor again!!

  • Stan & Saya "Just Said That?!" - PART 1
If you like banter! If you like funny stories! Then this is the one for you!! The last one in my Summer Hummer series, we sit down...well actually one of us is literally lying down, haha.
Stanislav Ivanov and Saya Suzaki join the show as we look into their lives from then to now. We also have other stories that go from one wall to the next that may break the celing and floors at this point. Their interaction is HILARIOUS, but don't take my word for it. Their back-and-forth banter is the norm for them and it was definitely worth tuning in!

  • Alex Glover
This week, we catch up with "New Hampshire or is it Boston Made" dancer Alex Glover as he joins me to share his story of how he got his west coast swing start. Plus, he talks about how he got his start as an instructor along with the challenges that come with the job. There's also a few other stories to share including some crazy stuff from Montreal Westie Fest, the inspiration for his tatoos, and the first-time events that he's enjoyed.
I do apologize, I had some mic issues so my voice after a few minutes does go down the "Tubular Effect", but Alex was great! So grab a chair and kick up the legs with your favorite snacks because you are in for a treat!

  • "ALL IN" - The Best Worst Review Ever!
The most anticipated wrestling event of the year "ALL IN" is in the books and now that I finished watching it, it's time to reflect back on it. I'll review the "Over the Budget Battle Royal" along with all nine matches on the main card with the highs and lows. It's also one of the most UNEDITED, MESSIEST podcast episodes ever so all my flaws in this one are out there, haha! I've may have missed a few key highlights and names so I do apologize for all those omissions, but I thank everyone that made the event possible as well as the fans!!
