Acting Prime Minister Richard Marles says the fatal shooting of US right-wing influencer, Charlie Kirk, is an "absolute tragedy".

Mr Kirk was shot and killed while speaking at a university in Utah.

Following the death of the right-wing activist, Mr Marles says there is "no place for political violence" and that the government's thoughts are with the family of Mr Kirk.
