Absolute Ultimate Escapist Comics

The Escapies are joined by a guest star, regular Sam {No Known Last Name} of the {???} Clan, to talk about all things new comics, and speculate about what exactly Dan Watters and Deniz Camp are going to be doing in the next year at DC Comics, as well as several new DC Next Level announcements and the continuation of Ryan North's excellent Flash run and Swamp Thing 1989!

The pod is BACK! Tate has returned from their super secret mission and that means more episodes for you! We talk New Mutants, In Your Skin, 7 Miles A Second, Odin, Dark Horse Unions, DC Blackout and so so SO much more in this massive episode designed to go straight for your dopamine receptors!

The Escapies talk the death of readcomicsonline.com, Absolute Batman, Absolute Martian, Bleeding Hearts, and a whole lot more, as well as the implications of the greatest comics tragedy to hit the industry since the  Liefeld Captain America chest fiasco.

This week the escapies introduce a new segment to the show, and it is STACKED! Also hear about some excellent recommendations from Persephone about new graphic novels to start off your May!

Oh boy are y'all in for a treat in this extra long double-feature omnibus edition of the Absolute Ultimate Escapist podcast created by the cataclysmic coupling of last week and this week's episode by our villainous editor, Tate. We talk all sorts of stuff including Absolute Wonder Woman, the new Tillie Walden Book, The Ultimates, the new Zatanna Series, and Swamp Thing 1989!

In this episode the escapies discuss some disheartening comics news including the firing of over 1000 Marvel Studios employees, the possible rise of AI, as well as some excellent comics including Storm #1-3, Absolute Batman #19, and Batwoman #2! But the real hot button two-page splash issue for this episode is the appearance of both Axacia and Aldo for some fun banter and comics discussion!

While Tate's gone for a mysterious mission(possibly for a hit job on notorious cartoonist Dave Sim), a secretive guest comes to take their place. We're talking gold star Pokemon card rarity guest. We're talking rest of Gretchen Felker-Martin's run on Red Hood rarity guest. Who is this you ask? Tune in to find out on Episode X of the Absolute Ultimate Escapist Comics Podcast

Persephone and Perl host this week's episode on April 1's new comics! Listen in for the latest in news and reviews!

The Escapies minus Perl are back to discuss Absolute Martian Manhunter Issue 10, Superman Spider-Man, and our new favorite lesbian comic: Harley Issue 60!

The escapies talk DC Next Level! and Love and Rockets!!
