Pastor Roy starts this evening's class with Colossians 3:12-17.

Pastor Roy talks about his 400 mile bike ride across the state of Kansas and how we can "train" for this life with the Holy Spirit's help.

There is always more to God's plan than what you can see. Just like Esther didn't know how God was going to use her to save an entire nation of people, we don't always see how God's plan to bless us is unfolding.

Today is the day of salvation. We need to act while we are still given the time to share our faith and live our lives to honor Jesus.

Pastor Roy walks through Colossians 3:1-11 during his Wednesday evening class.

We need to know God's word and then live it out by serving others. Pastor Roy challenges us to volunteer in our community.

Pastor Roy talks about kintsugi, the Japanese tradition of repairing broken pottery with gold dust and lacquer. Jesus does the same thing with us. After we have faced a heartache, he makes us something more beautiful than we were before.

We read the words of Paul and he calls God, Father, Father of mercies, and God of all. God brings comfort to us so that we can then go and comfort others and share His love with them.
