My Mom’s birthday is this week! Sorry to anyone who wishes her wishes, she’s doesn’t Facebook. In this episode, my Mom tells us about the fire and the onset of Tonya’s autism. She nails the intro this time! My Mom was a interior designer, art teacher, ran multiple companies with tons employees, marry a doctor (not an easy life either) while running our crazy household. She doesn’t struggle to be heard, so it’s funny to hear her adjust to this format, lol;)

She’s been through so much. I couldn’t image it on my shoulders and I helped once I could. I know how heavy my corner was during my stay, can’t image her’s. This has been good for us! It is a pleasure and a honor to share her story. Happy Birthday Mom! If I could write down all the ways you’ve taught and loved me, it would take forever. Thank goodness for hugs and bluebirds! Love you Mom!

This picture was taken after Tonya finished her Horse Show. Early 2000’s I think. Don’t quote me. Mom is already sending me lists my errors;) We were all so impressed by her riding! She didn’t have a lead person like everyone else. She did it all by herself. We were so proud!! She’d been riding so long. To see the payoff was excellent! But She was ready to get the fuck out of there. Won’t stay to watch anyone else. Best picture we got! It was great day! Good memory!

Geez, Still talking about this bullshit, right? I am frequently finding myself in situations now where folks want to know more about my breakup because they are struggling with some of the same emotions I’ve expressed. Guess I asked for it and I’m happy to share another layer, not drunk. It is always a pleasure to have a real conversation. We will get through this shit, I swear, and on to funnier stuff! I follow my inspiration with this show and if the universe keeps bringing something up, I know now it’s better not to ignore it! Breaking up is hard to do. Lots of stuff in life is hard. Being with someone and still feeling lonely is just as hard but more like in a water boarding kind of way;) This is my perspective, seen only through my own view, it’s limited as well, but the emotions are real. We can all understand that without words, but words with tone is all I got. Happy Wednesday! Burn your baggage! Drop your ego, drop your shit. What have you learned? That’s the only question that matters.

My sister Sasha and I sit down and have a real heart to heart about growing up with Tonya. Sasha and I spent the last part of almost 10 years estranged but polite. You know, it wasn’t until we were both ready that were able to come together and talk openly without shitting all over each other. Sibling relationship are some of the most complex emotional situations in our lives and they never go away. Stuck together with blood glue and DNA;) Anyway, this was fun and much needed! My mom is back for another episode and she still trips the takeoff. She’ll get the hang of it! Love her so much! We talk about Tonya's Adult life. We hear so much about autistic children, but what happens once the aren’t children anymore? We share our experience of how my mom found her way through the system and figured it out. There are so many more resources available now then before. There’s something to really be thankful about! My parents were Trail Blazers, Figuring out without google. Can you image? Me neither. They call it survival. Truest survivalists I know! Much respect to my Mother and Father!

Well here it is, the very last episode of theDAMNcast, sans Marty, ever! It's just Acacia and Curtis basically giving you guys an update now that they are officially divorced. It's been a wild ride! Both the the 17 year relationship and the almost 4 year podcasting-ship which are now officially over.
