Slang words are not in the dictionary. You just find it talking to people. But you can be fluent in a particular language and don't understand some words that somebody just made up. I didn't have so much luck look for them on the internet. So, I ask my husband, who is American, to help us to understand it a little bit closer. I thought my accent was a problem and I will never communicate perfectly because of it. It's not true! Now, I'm reconciling with it and even change the name of this podcast! I always struggle to say how the weather is outside, especially when it's raining. How should I say when there's a light rain out there, for example? Tongue twisters are good to improve the pronunciation in any language you're trying to learn. Even when you're a native speaker, they help to make you say things faster.
