Accenture looked to extend the value of the major investment it has made over the past 10 years in its video infrastructure by translating it from a network of devices for peer-to-peer communication into a network of content sources for global broadcast communications.

Collaboration, team building and knowledge sharing can be challenging and complex, especially among Accenture's globally dispersed workforce. Accenture's internal IT organization set out to create a collaborative business network, one that leveraged interactive mobile capabilities, social networking tools and collaboration applications to allow for fast, real-time interaction.
