This was a livestream where I just kind of went off about why I'm always "picking on" the Baptists. Honestly, it's mostly because they have the largest voice in evangelical culture, and that voice is not infallible and sometimes needs to be corrected. I also talk about how conservative evangelical churches in Pope County, Arkansas have irresponsibly handled the issue of whether or not our county will have casino. I'm not pro-casino or anti-casino, but I am pro-Gospel, and salvation is not by faith plus an anti-casino political position.
In this episode, I will talk about current controversy surrounding Pastor Jeffrey Johnson's book, The Failure of Natural Theology. I will cover the various responses to the book from Reformed Baptist pastor Josh Sommer and Catholic Thomist scholar Edward Feser. I will also cover accusations made against John MacArthur from Dennis Swanson that MacArthur plagiarises his material.

In this episode, I'll be covering the recent tweet from Brian Suave as well as the response from Beth Moore. Be prepared to get offended regardless of which side of that debate you're on. My take on it may not be what you think. I'll also be talking about Bible Gateway's decision to drop The Passion Translation. I'll close out the show talking about the potential dangers of the Legacy Standard Bible.

My wife joins me on the podcast and we discuss all sorts of fun stuff. I talk about why I don't like Logos or Harry Potter. We also discuss our favorite dead people, what songs we would want played at our funeral, and much, much more. We also ask some probing "Would You Rather" questions. Join us for this rather light-hearted episode of the podcast.
The NAMB of the SBC are encouraging southern pastors to lose their southern accents so that they can be all things to all men, but is this really neccesary? Why is it still cool to take shots at Russell Moore? Also, if Baptist churches and pastors aren't happy with the SBC, why won't they just leave? After all, they're all autonomous. Finally, I discuss how churches in SBC are essentially only connected to the convention through a tenuous string of money that goes into the Cooperative Program.

On this episode, I take to task those who propose that Calvinism is simply fatalism. I will presenting arguments from David Bentley Hart's 'The Doors of the Sea,' a response from Douglas Wilson, and I will also be sharing an article from James N. Anderson that originally appeared in the April 2020 edition of Tabletalk Magazine that defends the doctrine of God's sovereignty against the accusation of fatalism.
