  • Ep. 6 - Sermon from PAS: Realism & Optimism
Today, I share a recording from a sermon that I preached on July 14th, 2018 during a chapel service in my first year at the Program of Alternate Studies in McKenzie, Tennessee. I worked from 2 Corinthians 4:7-15 to talk about how we should view the call into ministry that the Lord has given us. Thanks for listening to the podcast and stay tuned at the end for how you can help me shape the future of the podcast.

  • Ep. 5 - The Myth of a Christian Nation, Chapter 2 w/ Nate Willcutt
In this episode, Nate Willcutt and I sit down to discuss chapter 2 of The Myth of a Christian Nation by Greg Boyd. We talk about the areas where we agree with Boyd and the areas where we might take issue with some of the implications of what he says. We also vocally express our confusion over whether or not someone who believes in Open Theism can have a stance on eschatology. So, sit back, buckle in, and let's see what we can learn from this fascinating book.

About Acceptable Words

From the publisher's feed

My name is Wendell Logan Dixon, and I am a Christian, a husband, a pastor, and now an aspiring podcaster. Everyone else has a voice in the wilderness, so why not add mine to the rest of the cacophony? In this show, I hope to provide talks and interviews about faith, life, and a little bit of everything in between. Join me as I interview guests, share articles, and speak words that I hope are, at the very least, acceptable.
