The holidays can be a lot of things: exciting, fun, stressful, overwhelming, the list goes on. With parties to attend, cookie swaps, and open houses, we are presented with tons of food choices. How can we make choices that leave us feeling good, that give our body what it needs? How can return home happy and satisfied, rather than bloated and tired? Mary Ellen Zung is a holistic Health Coach working with people who want to feel better and have more control over their lives, their health, and their happiness.
Mary Ellen holds a BA in Psychology from Emmanuel College, a teaching certificate, and has been a long-time student of nutrition science and coaching methodology. She worked as a wellness coach with a popular weight loss company for 14 years, and received further training and certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where she studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. Mary Ellen also works as a certified Lifestyle Coach for the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program and is the author of a health and wellness blog and newsletter.
She is a member of the International Association of Health Coaches, the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and the Natural Life Business Partnership.
