In this parable, we see a comparison between the wise and the foolish. We learn that saving faith through repentance and surrender to Christ is what makes one wise. We also see the importance of being prepared for Christ's return by living in obedience and the pursuit of holiness. We hope this message encourages you to live in light of eternity.

In this group of parables, we learn that we are never too far gone to be saved. God, our Father, is standing with His arms open wide ready to receive us if we will turn from our sin and run to Him for forgiveness. We see that one soul is of great value to Him and that all of heaven celebrates the lost being found!

In this series, we will be walking through some of Jesus' parables. This week, we look at the Parable of the Laborers in the Vineyard. In this parable we come to understand a couple of things: 1) that Christians should never be standing idly by, but rather should be engaged in the work of the kingdom, and 2) that grace is not earned, but freely given by the God of grace. Therefore, we are to rejoice when others come to faith in Christ!

In our final week in the Book of Ruth, we see a beautiful ending to this story of redemption. Just as Boaz is Ruth's kinsman-redeemer, so Jesus Christ redeems us and gives us hope for the future as we submit to and trust in Him. We pray this message encourages you in your walk with Him!
