G'day mate! Adri and Helene are headed to Australia as they talk about Our Lips Are Sealed (1999), starring Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Join them for an episode of reminiscing about the Kneel Diamond, Emil Hatchew (bless you!), and our favorite outfits in the Dualstar universe yet!

Helene and Adri continue their nostalgia-filled Olsen twin journey with yet another Dualstar Entertainment production, Switching Goals (1999). Not known for our knowledge, or (frankly) passion, for sports, this episode is full of non-sporting observations with the occasional bone thrown at those of you who actually like sports.

Get your passports ready, we're headed to Paris! Well, more like Parisian streets with a heavy dose of California interior and exterior shots, but you get the picture. Join Helene and Adri as they dish all about the 1999 Dualstar Entertainment / Tapestry Films classic that made us want crossbody backpacks, Passport to Paris (1999). This movie was produced by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (executive producers, natch) and the fashions are all over the place (possibly also available at your nearest Target rn).

Season one of Growing Up Millennial holds a really special place in our hearts: the direct-to-video (that's VHS to you, dear listeners) movies made by the Olsen Twins in the '90s and early aughts.
These films were a staple of our combined childhood (even with our seven-year age difference), and Adri and Helene are here to dissect, discuss, and reminisce about all of them. We go through the plot, the fashion, the feminism, and we even give a voice to the voiceless in podcasting, the straight white cis dude.
Even though we want to say that Our Lips Are Sealed to surprise our audience with which movies we’re going to cover throughout these eight episodes, we can safely say that you’ll get a full list pretty soon. Some may even say that you’ll see it in a New York Minute.
What to expect from our first episode: We hope you have your virtual passports, pretend airline tickets, and spiritual cross-body backpacks at the ready, because we’re headed to Paris! What could be more iconic (or should we say iconique?) than to begin our Dualstar journey with the 1999 classic, Passport to Paris? Nothing, that’s what. I mean, this movie had FASHION (yes, the usage of all caps was a necessary choice) and a romance for the ages (I’m looking at you J-Man & Brigitte).

Mark your calendars with glitter gel pens! Growing Up Millennial is launching on November 1, 2023.
We're a podcast about all things nostalgia from the 90s to the early aughts.
Remember that feeling you got when you’d rush home after school, wearing those butterfly clips and/or chain wallets, to watch your favorite TV shows and movies? Do you remember that thrill you’d feel at talking all about your favorite shows on your transparent corded phone or Nokia phone (if you had a Razr flip phone, wow so you were rich RICH?! God Bless)?
Well, we’re all about reliving those moments, the good, the not-so-good, and everything in between on our new podcast, Growing Up Millennial. That’s right, we’re in full nostalgia mode. Go grab your scrunchies, put on your platform sneakers, and apply a healthy amount of that Dr. Pepper-flavored lip smacker. Our goal with this new show? To get you to feel that same level of triumph you’d feel when you didn’t kill your Tamagotchi (or GigaPet) on the first day of its life. That and for you to feel like you’re right there with us on a virtual blanket fort. Truly, what a time to be alive.

Well, here it is... [wait for dramatic pause] We've arrived at the final episode of Accio Politics. If you've just joined us or if you've found us somewhere along the way, thanks for listening and being with us until the very end.
While this is the end of this venture, keep your eyes and ears trained on this feed because we'll be posting the first few episodes of our newest project in this feed. If you want to get a sneak peek into it, go ahead and follow this link to our new show's Instagram: Growing Up Millennial.
Here we are, nineteen years later (or so it feels after re-reading the entire series week by week). In the series' epilogue, we see the Golden Trio with some familial additions. We talk about how families are structured in the wizarding world, as well as the power names carry in the series.
Hold on to your wands, this is one of the last episodes in our show's history! We talk about the penultimate chapter of DH (or if you don't count Epilogues as strictly chapters, this is the LAST chapter of the seventh book). Your hosts talk about the politics of confidence and bravery, how these intersect and how they diverge, and they also manage to speak on Emily Henry once again.
This is the one where we talk about the structure of the afterlife in the series, Dumbledore wisdom, and much more.
