We take a first look at the Acer Aspire VX 15.
* 15.6" 1920 x 1080 Semi-matte screen (IPS)
* 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7300HQ (2.5Ghz up to 3.5Ghz)
* 8GB of Dual-Channel DDR4 (ipgradable to 32GB)
* NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti w/4GB GDDR5 (Optimus... so it only turns on when an application needs a GPU)
* 256GB m.2 SSD (Also has a 2.5" bay for more storage options)
* 1 x USB Type-C // 2 USB 3.0 // 1 USB 2.0
* HDMI / Ethernet / Combo Audio / Lock Port
* Bluetooth 4.0 / 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (Wave II)
* SD Memory Card Reader
* Good Audio
* Rated for 6 hrs of battery life, I averaged between 8:30 & 9:15 with WiFi Disabled (6:50 - 8:15 on)
* Weight 5-1/2 lbs
* Decent "Chicklet Style" keyboard... firm backing, but the keys were a little mushy
* PCMark 8 (Home) : 3207
