Acme Packing Company: for Green Bay Packers fans

Family night has come and gone, and if you’re looking for a thorough breakdown of every snap, well, this is not the podcast for you. It’s Brett Favre week! The gunslinging country boy from Mississippi is set to be enshrined in Canton, and we’re here to wax all things Favre. We discuss the duality of Favre and our favorite Favre moments.

Then we’re joined by none other than Packers great, Antonio Freeman to reminisce about the Holmgren/Favre era in Title Town.

Here at the APC Podcast, we’ve got an extra spring in our step. Why? Players have checked into the St. Norbert College dorms, they’re wearing pads, they’re running plays -- Training camp is underway!

Ok, so there are have only been a handful of sloppy practices, but football is back, baby! We run through some headlines from training camp, hit on Greg Jennings' retirement (he put the team on his back, after all) and  talk a bit about Aaron Rodgers' deft handling of the inevitable Jordan Rodgers question during his locker room availability.

If you’d rather talk beer, fishing and fantasy football, Alex Gelhar of NFL.com calls in (at about the 25 minute mark) to chat a bit about his Wisconsin roots, his path to working for the NFL and to give his thoughts on the fantasy viability of all of your favorite Packers players.

It's been a few weeks, and we're a man down, but we're back baby! Zach and Ben talk about superstitions in sports for both fans and players alike. We're also joined by Jamie Ross, a consulting diviner and old college pal of Ben's, to get a tarot card reading for the Packers season. Things get personal when the cards turn thier prognosticating powers towards the show hosts.

Alex, Ben and Zach talk salary cap and explore the most overplayed offseason story lines with "Game of Groans."  Acme Packing Company's Jason B. Hirschhorn calls in to talk about the APC top-10 plays list.

The offseason train keeps rolling as we welcome Tex Western to report on his impressions after watching today's minicamp practice. We also discuss 2 point conversions, Gus Frerotte and the free candy inside our New York rent-a-studio. What a time to be alive.

APC has assembled a new crew for its flagship podcast! They hit the ground running with episode one, diving into OTA headlines and more.
