In our previous FutureDocs Episode (#59), Dr. Chiou shared his inspiring story of his 9 year journey that let up to his FM match. In this episode (#60), we continue on with part 2 of Dr. Chiou's 2 part interview with Dr. Mizani and Dr. Rosas, where we discuss his post-match life as a FM PGY1 resident.
Dr. Chiou is an ACMedical member who matched into FM PGY1 in the 2021 Main Match during the COVID pandemic. He graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana School of Medicine (UNIBE), then worked as an Assistant Physician in St. Louis, Missouri for 2 years prior to matching, and when the pandemic first hit, he was also part of a Disaster Medical Assistance Team.
