Across the Mooniverse

Just a Note: We are aware of the weird echo. Unfortunately, this epsiode and the next are still affected by it because we recorded a couple episodes back-to-back to prep for the holidays. The issue will be fully resolved in Episode 6. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Y'all best buckle up cause Maddie and Mike get a bit fired up in this episode. And they're not afraid to be liberal with the f-bombs.

Today we're discussing Episode 4 of Sailor Moon: "Learn How to Be Skinny from Usagi"!

We also discuss Creeper Umino, "Sweet Sugar Energy", Pornhub, and the Japanese ability to make content out of anything,

**DISCLAIMER:** The audio in this episode is really wonky for some strange reason. Sorry, lovely Moonies!

-----------------------------

In this episode, we discuss "Mysterious Sleeping Sickness: Protect the Girls in Love!"

We also discuss Japanese animation, Luna NOT having a crush on Motoki, the alphabet, and why it's bad to be the best friend of a superhero.

ALSO: We have a special guest! Our lovely friend, Peter!

**Trigger Warning:**

In this episode we do talk about sexual assault and victim blaming. The topic of consent is important and as it directly relates to the episode, we do discuss unwanted attention and sexual harrassment. Be advised. If these topics are sensitive areas for you, we encourage you to skip over this episode. It is the intent of everyone involved in *Across the Mooniverse* to create an atmosphere of inclusivity and safety. We fight for love and for justice. Always.

----------------------------------

In this episode, Mike and Maddie discuss all things from Japanese grammar to 90s Alt Rock bands. This episode gets a bit giggly and tangential because Maddie was enjoying some wine at the time of recording.

We also discuss "Punishment Awaits: the House of Fortune Is the Monster Mansion", the second episode of the first season.

------------------------------------------------------------

**Just a Quick Note**

Mike's microphone was off for about the first two minutes of the show, so his audio is a little weird at first. We correct the issue once it's discovered. Sorry for the inconvenience.

And this is... **Across the Mooniverse**!

Come join Maddie and Mike on their flagship adventure into the world of Sailor Moon. Maddie is our fearless captain and veteran to the series, spending most of her life under the hypnotic allure of the Moon Princess. Mike, on the other hand, is just dipping his toes into this magical world.

In this episode, our hosts discuss their knowledge of Sailor Moon and explain roughly how the show will work going forward. It's a short introduction to our intrepid adventurers, but it's still full of a lot of insights into their worlds.

*Audio quality is low in this first episode. We apologize. We've since remedied this issue and hope to have higher quality audio going forward. Thank you for your understanding.*
