Canada in 2014 where he attended Stanstead College in Quebec and graduated
in 2016. He is currently living in London, Ontario and studying journalism.
My second guest is Jordan’s father John Laroche, who was born in London,
Ontario. This is our first father/son duo on the show and it was a unique
opportunity to hear their story about learning the game of hockey in Hong
Kong.

Tonight, I talk about the NHL rumours and the Shenzhen KRS Vanke Rays. My
first guest tonight is from Quebec, Canada. This guy really needs no
introduction around this city. He is the longest-serving Executive Director
of The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (2007-2012). He founded
the Hong Kong economic policy think tank and The Lion Rock Institute, where
he remains an active member. He is the founder and Editor in Chief of
Harbour Times (est. 2014), a publication focussed on Hong Kong policy and
politics. He’s the Executive Director of Self Storage Association Asia. He
has worked for NExChange, The Economist Group, Penton Media and on
Parliament Hill with a senior Cabinet Minister in Ottawa. He holds a
Bachelor of Science (Biology) from McGill University and an MBA from the
University of Victoria. Not to mention. He is is currently the President of
The Canadian Club of Hong Kong (since 2015), promoting Canadian culture,
history, and values abroad. My friend and known as Mr. Canada in these
parts, Andrew Work.My second guest tonight is the founder of the men’s
style e-commerce and consulting business Style Standard and a director of
The Amber Foundation. He’s a board member of the Canadian Club of Hong Kong
and the son of one of the founders of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in
Hong Kong. Born in Toronto, he’s a fourth-generation Hong Konger and spends
his time between the two cities and Thunder Bay, Ontario. He is also the
first guy to interview me on Hong Kong Radio when he worked for Billboard
Radio China and just so happens to be super cool guy. Please welcome James

Tonight I talk about the NHL stoppage, the CIHL playoff push and the Coronavirus. My guest graduated from the Medical school of the University of Hong Kong in 2007 and obtained his Fellowship in Orthopaedics & Traumatology in 2015. His postgraduate studies include a Masters of Science in Sports Medicine and Health Science (2013, CUHK) and a Masters in Public Health (2018, HKU). He’s the associate consultant in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of Tseung Kwan O Hospital, and is current the Surgeon in Charge in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery. He is also currently Chief Medical Officer and member of the Board of Directors for the Hong Kong Lacrosse Association (HKLA). He served as the team doctor for all Hong Kong representative teams for lacrosse since 2013 and is one of the commissioned members of the Hong Kong Association of Sports Medicine and Sports Science. This week I talk about the playoff stretch, the race to 50 goals and losing a legend. My guest tonight was born in Vancouver, Canada, and like a lot of Canadian kids, grew up with a passion for sports. Not just playing, but at a young age had visions of someday becoming a broadcaster. After high school he went to BCIT to study radio broadcasting. He began with a weekly sports radio show in 82/83 on the campus station. After graduating in 83, took a radio job at CJAT, Trail BC doing live play by play of LL baseball and both junior B (KIJHL) and senior (WIHL) hockey. After Trail, he spent six years working in radio news in Vancouver. In March,1994 made the move to HK where he spent 22 years at TVB, 18 years of those at The Pearl Report. Please welcome, my friend, Mr Chris Lincoln.
