The reason I am going live to explore West Papua, Financial Services and Modern Life is that as I continue on my personal dot-joining, curious exploration of systems, interconnection and interdependence, whilst doing so I am uncovering some troubling systemic weaves that I feel are important to share. What seems like 'just business' here in the UK or in the Global North is having very real, oppressive impact in areas such as West Papua in the Global South.
Worse still the realisation that my pension fund investments are DIRECTLY contributing to that oppression, as part of a so called ethical investment fund.
