Beginning Video: Bethesda’s conference started off with a nice montage of its employees sharing their history with Bethesda games, before they were even employed by Bethesda, their thankfulness to the fans, and also by sharing what they do at Bethesda. It was nice and heartwarming. Bethesda may stumble from time to time in quality but it certainly seems like it is a nice place to work. Pete Hines opening speech: Pete came out onstage to greet everyone and to discuss the diversity of experiences Bethesda offers to all of their fans and express his gratitude to the fans. Bethesda Game Studios Head Todd Howard speech: Todd Howard came onstage to thunderous applause and humorously touched on how Fallout 76 may have tested the fans but quickly jumped into how 60+ million players have been enjoying all of Bethesda’s games in the last year alone. This is the most Bethesda has had in a year, according to Todd Howard. Todd Howard discusses Fallout 76: Todd acknowledges the criticism Fallout 76 has received and noted how it is completely fair but says the team has been hard at work and listening to feedback. He discusses the goodwill of the community and says overall it has been a nice beacon of hope for the future whenever an actual apocalypse does happen. The Elder Scrolls: Blades Bethesda’s second #1 mobile game Craig Lafferty and Matt Carofano come discuss the importance and staying power of the dungeon crawler genre. New content is discussed, including Solo Arena Battles, custom jewelry system, new jobs, and a brand new dragon questline. This content all released that evening (6/9/).
