The God of the Mountains Is the God of the Valleys

Life isn’t lived from mountaintop to mountaintop. There are hills and there are valleys - seasons of breakthrough and clarity, but also seasons of battle, disappointment, grief and uncertainty.

In this message, we’re reminded that God has never promised we won’t walk through valleys, but He has promised we will never walk through them alone.

Looking at different valleys throughout Scripture - from the Valley of Elah and the valley of dry bones to the Valley of Achor and the Valley of Baca - we see how God meets us in places of overwhelming opposition, hopelessness, shame, loss and grief.

The enemy wants us to believe that God cannot be found in the valley. But the same God we celebrate on the mountaintop is the God who meets us, restores us, grows us and reveals Himself to us in the valley.

Whatever season you are walking through, God is there - and the valley does not have the final say.

Different, Not Distant

Jesus doesn’t call us to withdraw from the world, but to live differently within it.
