It is a fact that we do not only encounter and create information in our own technology, but we also find information in our biology. It is present in every cell of every living organism on Earth. But this begs the question, “How did this information arise? What does information in my cells imply about humankind? Who or what wrote this ‘book of life’?”
"DNA functions like a software program and contains specified information just as software does. We know from experience that software comes from programmers. We know generally that specified information — whether inscribed in hieroglyphics, written in a book, or encoded in a radio signal — always arises from an intelligent source. So the discovery of such information in the DNA molecule provides strong grounds for inferring (or detecting) that intelligence played a role in the origin of DNA, even if we weren’t there to observe the system coming into existence."
What would you say if I told you there was another universe inside of our own? A much smaller universe on the microscopic and even nanoscopic scale, that consists of objects that are too small to be seen with the naked eye. A realm of cells, molecules, atoms, and particles, governed and organized by extremely sophisticated biological networks, molecular systems, anomalous physical laws, and primeval technology that far outsurpass our own. Would your intuition tell you they were developed? Or designed? In this episode, we will be talking about the concept of irreducible complexity, the complexity of microscopic machines and the probability of DNA. Be mindful. Victory lies just ahead.
Do you understand the inherent complexity supporting all life? Do you appreciate the miracle of the creation of all creatures, animals, plants, underwater life and microscopic life? Can you realize the explanation, meaning and reason behind the fact that any life exists in the universe at all, including your own?
What exactly is science? What can it do and what can it not do? Is it adequate enough to explain the "big questions" like how did reality start, or what our purpose is? These questions sound simple on the surface but are actually quite involved. This episode will explain these by introducing the chance hypothesis and chemical necessity, discussing the probabilities of life, what scientific "proof" is and more. The next episode will continue in this topic, specifically the marvelous complexity of molecular life and its origins.

Acts of Twenty, Love and Fate listeners! The latest episode on my Theology and Science series is here in a conversation/interview format. Based on the feedback I've been getting, it seems like people missed the conversational tone of my previous episodes, as Episode 8 is read more like an audiobook. I decided to keep releasing my scripted episodes on Theology and Science but also follow-up with an interview episode, addressing any needed clarifications or questions!
I'm talking with Dr. Clifford Stirba who discusses Part 1 of Theology and Science. We address conversationally the major topics introduced in the first part of the series, including the definition of science, the limitations of science and how science can prove the existence of an all-knowing Mind. This and the following episodes will likely all be around a 30-minute length. Please let me know what you think, either in the comments or a DM! If you have any ideas about what to address in the future, please send me your thoughts as well. Believe it or not, but I've actually gotten some positive feedback from ministers and workers of the Church! Happy listening, kapatid! #iglesianicristo #INC #ATLF #episode8b #religion #science #podcast
Hello there! I've finally finished the first of a five-part series about investigating whether or not there can be an all-knowing Creator or Designer of the universe and how it translates to science. I'll discuss how evidence can be shown for it as well as investigating hypotheses, within my professional area of molecular biology. I've posted a snippet here of the episode so you can see if this is something you'd like to learn more about!
Welcome back class, I am Joshua Stirba and you’re listening to Acts of Twenty, Love and Fate, Episode 7. The podcast that discusses all sorts of things spiritual, cerebral and scientific. This episode, we are talking about general advice about COVID-19 misconceptions/myths, facts and what you can do while you're surviving under the quarantine.
Alright, let's go through what we have!
Welcome back class, I am Joshua Stirba and you’re listening to Acts of Twenty, Love and Fate, Episode 5, Part 1. The podcast that discusses all varieties of things spiritual, cerebral and scientific. This episode, we are talking about theology, the study of divine nature and religious belief. Many people ask either themselves or others questions about God's divine nature - questions that are definitely more on the skeptical side of religious beliefs, or outright anti-religion. They aren't able to reconcile the possible existence of God with their understanding of their world.
I won't say anything demeaning about others who believe in things, or not believe in things, that are different from my own beliefs. Having differences in beliefs outlines us as unique individuals but it's not a reason to hate, but rather it's an opportunity to learn more about each other, to arrive at a much deeper understanding of our fellow man, and would lead to much more godly lives for many people.
