Responding with love to friends and family that identify as members of the LGBT+ community is crucial to maintain a godly influence in their lives. Our immediate reaction to their bad choices may either help or hinder the relationships closest to us. Christians must learn to behave with wisdom, mercy, and prayer toward those who disagree or oppose the Word of God. Leave room for people to experience failure, grace, and forgiveness. May you be used of God to do that in the lives of those around you.

"Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself." (Galatians 6:1-3)
