Second hour of the show gets started with us finally getting to some actually game day talk because HEY! The Steelers got the defending champs in their place Sunday night. Crowley gives some takes on the game before getting right back into sinking our teeth into the AB nonsense. Gerry Dulac of the Post-Gazette and The Steelers Radio Network then joins the show to give some thoughts about AB and the Patriots game this Sunday. Crowl Man takes a victory lap because man was he right all along with how AB would go over in Oakland. The Steelers just took a used condom and flushed it down the toilet and it came out in The Bay, never to be the same again. Poetic stuff from the Crowl Man. The Raiders are on the verge of suspending AB, and the GM Mike Mayock gave one of the longest press conferences in the history of the NFL Network. Final hour of the show today starts with us taking a break from the Patriots for justttt a smidge. Adam Rittenberg is a senior college football writer for ESPN and he joins us to start the hour to go around College ball, get his thoughts on the transfer portal, and some of the big games coming up this weekend. We then get into JuJu and how apparently, one of Crowley's good friends Pete and his wife Amanda have a very close relationship with JuJu, stemming from both the couple and the receiver owning the same French Bulldog. Second hour of the Crowley Show starts with our first regular season sit down with Big Ben, who will be doing his radio show with us this season, every single Wednesday. Great stuff as always Ben, looking forward to the season ahead. Tim Benz then joins the program, and we call him out for being a sleeper cell of the Patriots organization sent here to spy on the Steelers. Crowley and Benz also kick around the game, if the Pats take the Steelers as seriously as the Steelers take the Pats, and Tim gum shames Crowley. You don't need to out coach him, just out execute him. Now, we didn't plan to go here next, but AB just forces his way into our show. We discuss his instagram post calling the Raiders and Mayock "Haters" for fining him for missing practice and camp. I think I love AB just as much as I hate him. We then get back to the Steelers, contracts are being passed out today as the Cowboys finally paid Zeke, Crowley tells you why this made him worry about the Steelers contracts that are coming up over the next couple years, and why the window to win might be now Steelers nation.

Final hour of the show starts with us welcoming on Christopher Price of the Boston Globe. He covers the Patriots better than anyone and Crowley bounces some questions off of him regarding the Patriots, if they are in fact vulnerable, and if this is the best time for teams to play the Patriots. Crowley then gets back into the vulnerability of the Patriots, especially when it comes to playing September football. Crowley firmly believes that the Steelers are more talented then the Patriots, but I mean we've allll heard that one before Crowl Man. Chris Carter then makes his weekly appearance on the show to break down what he thinks of the Pats roster, if he agrees with Crowley that the Steelers are more talented and if these Pats are vulnerable. Crowley doesn't like what he's hearing from Tomlin when it comes to Devin Bush's usage, and promises to CRUSH him next Monday if he does "take it slow" with the Bush. Final hour of the show gets started with us talking some college football. Week 1 got started last night and Alex Kirshner joins our show to break down the start of College ball. We pick his brain about the national landscape this year as well as ask him how he thinks the big three around here will shake out this season. Crowley then gets back into the Steelers and roster cuts, this time telling you how it's all about the backups baby and there's some position groups where the Steelers depth is a littleeeee scary. He discusses the merits of it and how he thinks he likes this idea over the 18 game schedule.
