Final hour of the day starts with the show taking a trip out to Vegas to talk to the Athletics own Josh Yohe, who is baking in the Sun poolside as we talk to him. What a life. Yohe and Crowley talk about the awards tonight a bit before getting into more Penguins offseason talk including if he thinks the window to trade Jack Johnson has closed. Sidney Crosby is up for the Hart tonight, as we've mentioned a ton on the show already. He's not going to win tonight and unfortunately, Crowley has also decided that he will never win another MVP. He lays out his reasoning as to why, and it has nothing to do with Sid's play dropping off. Hottest take of the day, other crap, and the three stars of the show.

It's NHL awards season as the awards will be giving out later on tonight in Vegas. We start the second hour of today's show right there and Crowley tries to make his best case for Sid winning the Hart Trophy tonight. We are then pleased to be joined by NHL Network analyst Mike Johnson who hops on the line and breaks down the NHL offseason thus far, including the Maata move. He also let's us know if he feels there's any chance that Sid pulls off the upset and gets another MVP tonight. You've found The Crowley Show and we keep that hockey train rolling in this first hour of the day. Crowley evaluates how even though the Pens stars are aging, there's no reason not to think they won't age gracefully. He also gets into how building the roster smartly can help that aging process. The Flyers spent too much money on a player in free agency, stop me if you've heard that one before. Crowley uses this to lay out the fact that the Penguins have some bad contracts, but they really have some stinkin' good ones too, especially with their stars.

Final hour of the show gets started with the Crowl man spitting some more fire Penguins takes out at you. But let's not bury the lead here. Crowley pooped his pants during his TEN MINUTE ride to work today. He tells us his tale and you will be shocked where he disposed of the poopy underwear. He then gets into Kessel, no not about trading him, about how he needs to be shooting more pucks on net next year, IF he's going to be coming back. He also laments that he still has faith in GMJR and it's ridiculous not too, he's certainly made some mistakes, but a couple bad trades don't cancel out back to back cups. The second hour of the show starts with Crowley breaking what he claims to be the biggest news in the history of that show. Brett Favre is coming back! Unfortunately for Crowley we find out no more then 2 minutes later Favre deleted the announcement from the internet, and it was clearly a Favrce. I want to make sure you all reading this know that 1. yes I know how to spell farce. and B, yes I went for the Favre joke spelling it with a V. Youre welcome. Crowley then gets into the Penguins and draws the attention to the fact that this Metro division, is a bear, a regular old labyrinth, and the Rangers just got better. He ponders what the Penguins will do to be sure they make the playoffs out of that bear/labyrinth of a division. We start with Crowley telling you why even if the Pens screw this offseason up, winning two cups should trump that failure. He also gets into Sully and how he manages the lines next year before getting into Kahun. Stephen Whyno covers the NHL for the AP and he hops on the show to break down the offseason's start. Crowley and Stephen discuss the Trouba trade and of course get into Maata being shipped out of town and what he thinks the Penguins need to do this offseason. Crowley then gets into some more Penguins takes, but this time, he's got a shirtless hype man helping drive the points home.

Final hour of today's program gets started with Tim Benz joining us to break down his thoughts on the Maata trade. Crowley and Benz get into Rutherford's media rounds today discussing his comments and which ones they believe and which they dismiss. Benz also lets us know where he thinks the Penguins go next, including how he feels about Kessel still getting moved. Crowley then gets into breaking down the trade even more solo dolo style, including noticing how TO's Chicago seems to be after this trade, which hey as a Pens fan that's great! Crowley breaks down Kahun because he watched a lot of youtube clips of him earlier today so now he is an expert in the field. Second hour of the show starts with Crowley taking a look at something GMJR said in his media rounds today. Stop me if you've heard this one before Pittsburgh, LOCKER ROOM PROBLEMS. Crowley tells you what he things about these problems, and puts some blame on a players plate that may just surprise you. Then in a special special treat to the show, we are pleased to be a stop on GMJR's media rounds for the day. The big boss joins us for a few minutes and Crowley picks his brain about moving Maata, what motivated it, the player in return, and if they were thinking about trading the first round pick this year. We then talk about our USA woman who are beating some serious ass over in France in the World Cup before it's time for the great unsponsored football segment filled with knowledge and fun brought to you by to be determined.

The Crowl Man breaks down the trade from this past weekend and tells you everything hes feeling deep down in his loins about this deal. Brian Metzer of the Penguins Radio Network hops on the show next to share his thoughts on this deal, and what it means for the offseason moving forward. He also reveals another Penguin defenseman that he thinks will share Maata's fate by the end of the offseason.... Crowley then tells you why he would move that first round pick this offseason, even though the thought of doing that again shares alot of you peeps out there.

Final hour of the show, and the week for that matter, gets started with Crowley telling you who the Steelers need to approach and get a contract extension done. SPOILER ALERT. It's Joe Haden. He breaks down the Steelers secondary to illustrate how important this dude is to have back there. He then has new data to support his argument that the Steelers need to run the ball more next year to be successful. Crowley then commits show blasphemy. The Pirates dropped to last place in the Mega Bowl MEGAAA BOWLLL, and Crowley just up and decides he doesn't care about the Mega Bowl MEGGGAAAA BOWLLL anymore.
