Final hour of the day starts with the show taking a trip out to Vegas to talk to the Athletics own Josh Yohe, who is baking in the Sun poolside as we talk to him. What a life. Yohe and Crowley talk about the awards tonight a bit before getting into more Penguins offseason talk including if he thinks the window to trade Jack Johnson has closed. Sidney Crosby is up for the Hart tonight, as we've mentioned a ton on the show already. He's not going to win tonight and unfortunately, Crowley has also decided that he will never win another MVP. It's NHL awards season as the awards will be giving out later on tonight in Vegas. We start the second hour of today's show right there and Crowley tries to make his best case for Sid winning the Hart Trophy tonight. We are then pleased to be joined by NHL Network analyst Mike Johnson who hops on the line and breaks down the NHL offseason thus far, including the Maata move. He also let's us know if he feels there's any chance that Sid pulls off the upset and gets another MVP tonight. Crowley evaluates how even though the Pens stars are aging, there's no reason not to think they won't age gracefully. He also gets into how building the roster smartly can help that aging process. The Flyers spent too much money on a player in free agency, stop me if you've heard that one before. Crowley uses this to lay out the fact that the Penguins have some bad contracts, but they really have some stinkin' good ones too, especially with their stars.

Final hour of the show gets started with the Crowl man spitting some more fire Penguins takes out at you. But let's not bury the lead here. He also laments that he still has faith in GMJR and it's ridiculous not too, he's certainly made some mistakes, but a couple bad trades don't cancel out back to back cups. Unfortunately for Crowley we find out no more then 2 minutes later Favre deleted the announcement from the internet, and it was clearly a Favrce. I want to make sure you all reading this know that 1. yes I know how to spell farce. and B, yes I went for the Favre joke spelling it with a V. Youre welcome. Crowley then gets into the Penguins and draws the attention to the fact that this Metro division, is a bear, a regular old labyrinth, and the Rangers just got better. He ponders what the Penguins will do to be sure they make the playoffs out of that bear/labyrinth of a division.
