The United States military training of the Afghan Army, was deemed a complete and total failure due to internal incompetency and corruption (most likely from Taliban influence). Meanwhile over the course of 4 years, the Taliban have secretly allowed for terrorist groups such as Al Qaeda, Eastern Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM) and Jamaat Ansarullah to fully operate training camps and madrassas.
