In this series entitled "Operation Encore Edits", i will be reading excerpts from the FBI's investigation dubbed "Operation Encore", which was a followup to the PENTTBOM investigation of Saudi government complicity in providing assistance to two Al Qaeda operatives who were involved with the 9/11 attacks, Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi.

US Air Force judge, Lt Col Michael A Schrama, ruled on Wednesday that the trial for alleged 9/11 mastermind, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and three other co-accused would begin June 5th 2028, 27 years after the attacks. I read from an article and share my own thoughts.

A CNN documentary hosted by investigative correspondent Drew Griffin for the 10th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks which aired in 2011. The focus profiles eight everyday people who went to work on September 11, 2001, and unexpectedly became part of history. While it also explores the minor figures, untold vignettes, and peripheral accounts mentioned in the official 9/11 Commission Report footnotes.

This is a two part series where i read from the FBI PENTTBOM report, dated Sept12th 2001, detailing the timeline of information from witnesses and victims information from the plane's phones and their personal calls. Some info which contradicts the "narrative", formed later, of both the FBI and State Department.

The United Nations Sanctions & Monitoring Team report, released earlier last week, details the current sanctions and threat matrix in the current times around the world. I read specifically from the Asia continent and its findings. I also add some additional thoughts of my own.

The Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities before and after the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001 is the official name of the inquiry conducted by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence into the activities of the U.S. Intelligence Community in connection with the September 11, 2001 attacks. The investigation began in February 2002 and the final report was released in December 2002.

The Joint Inquiry received testimony from the Director of Central Intelligence and the Directors of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Security Agency, and also examined the records of these agencies, to determine what the Intelligence Community knows now about the September 11 attacks. FBI Director Mueller described efforts by the U.S. intelligence and law enforcement communities “to find out everything we could about the hijackers and how they succeeded.”
