Elaine Gallagher, Professor Emeritus in the University of Victoria School of Nursing joins the program to chat to Adam about the concerns within the health care system and how nurse practitioners and other medical professionals may be the saving grace going forward.
Adam starts the show by talking about the potential new ‘Freedom Convoy’ that is intended to be headed to Victoria Legislature building and remain that for an extended period of time. Adam continues to speculate and examine the video that was uploaded by one of the organizers of the potential new convoy. Colin Plant, board chair, Capital Regional District joins the program to speak about the CRD is doing in the coming weeks including the Hospital District’s Oak Bay Lodge redevelopment project. Plant also provides insight into the socially responsible goals that the CDR has set and how they hope to be able to set an explain for the region. Isinger also emphasizes the role that parents and caregivers can play in connecting young women to programs and services and what can community members can do to support Girl Guides.
