The Canadian Taxpayers Federation is calling on federal politicians to focus on saving taxpayers’ money in light of Parliamentary Budget Officer data that predicts the federal government won’t balance its budget until 2070. Franco Terrazzano, Canadian Taxpayers Federation Federal Director, joined Adam to talk about Canada’s debt.
Effective October 15 British Columbia is making changes to its employment standards legislation by raising the general working age for young people from 12 to 16 years old. Sussanne Skidmore, Secretary Treasurer at BC Federation of Labour, joined Adam to explain why this change is being made.
