This week Addendum is happy to feature James Ehrlich, an entrepreneur and lecturer based in Stanford University. Currently, he is working on a futuristic real estate project known as REGEN Ecovillages. The name hints at how he is using technology to build a space where human living leads to bio-regeneration.    

James Ehrlich is an entrepreneur in technology, media and clean-tech. He has had a background coding video games and is currently a researcher and lecturer at Stanford University School of Medicine. He was part of the White House and State Department Joint Task Force on the Nexus of Food, Water, Energy & Waste under the Obama Administration. He has been featured on various publications such as the NY Times. He also had a national TV Show, Hippy Gourmet.

Professor Roli Varma is a lecturer at the School of Public Administration at the University of New Mexico. She is a Carl Hatch Endowed Professor that has published multiple research on technology, immigration and women in the STEM workplace. Additionally, she has published the book Harbingers of Global Change: India’s Techno-Immigrants in the United States.

Addendum today features Lucas Béland, the 20 years old CEO and founder of GoLoot. Lucas Béland was a student at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf before dropping out and launching a start-up that quickly raised more than 2.9 million dollar in its short life span and went from 1 to 11 employees in one year.
