Dr. Mark Edison introduces a family training concept on this week’s show to help families to have a plan for relating to their loved ones who are addicts or alcoholics and to encourage them to embrace support and help.
Many of us have heard about and participated in the various 12 step support groups offered to families of addicts. On this show Denise likes to encourage families to reach out for support. Addiction in the family is difficult enough to experience without having to experience it alone. It is important to have choices. Not all support fits all people. This week’s show offers another type of support.
Consider your choices and think about what might be a good fit for you.
