Jonathan Beecher is a legend in the field of afterlife-related books and publications, and he is with us on Seek Reality for the fourth time. after what has really been much too long an absence! Jon was born in Chiswick, London, in 1956, and he left his formal education four months after his fifteenth birthday. After taking some blue-collar jobs, and also a stint at selling clothes, he tells us that he stumbled into the music business. He co-founded a now publicly quoted entertainment company, and an independent record company. He spent three decades in what gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson called the TV industry’s “long plastic hallway.” But then a very bad fall which included a head injury in the year 2000 changed his life. For what seemed to be no apparent reason, Jon Beecher began to talk about death. He told everyone who would listen to him that there is no death. People thought he had found God, but he said that he hadn’t even been looking for God. But, well, perhaps God had been looking for, and had found him. That led Jon to found White Crow Books. The name of his one-man publishing house comes from psychologist William James’s famous saying that in order to disprove the theory that all crows are black, or that there is no life after death, all you have to do is find that one white crow! Or, all you really need to find is proof that a few people actually have survived their death. And I have done the research, too, as my listeners know. And, yes, there are MANY people who can be proven to have survived their deaths! Jon Beecher says that he never set out to write about Jesus or the afterlife—Jesus wasn’t even really on his radar—but the yearning would not leave him alone.  So now he is in a different hallway, he tells us, one that is less chaotic, and far more interesting. Our guests today are two very accomplished people! Puran Khan Bair is a true American mystic. He is the author and co-founder of IamHeart, the school of Heart Rhythm Meditation (HRM). Near-death experiences have become more and more of a problem for us in recent years, because they have confused so many people. They can feel so extraordinary that some who have them, not our guest today of course, but some recent experiencers think they must have died and then come back to life! And IANDS, the International Association for Near-Death Studies, used to police what people said at their conferences, but not so much anymore. So we are going to have to say here just quickly once again that death is ALWAYS a one-way trip! And NEAR-death experiences are instances of spontaneous out-of-body travel into the astral plane, usually when, for one reason or another, the material body is briefly unable to support life. And when that happens, and we suddenly find ourselves awake and aware in the astral plane, which is an entirely different environment from the earth, our spirit guides will often give us weird and amazing experiences that are educational, and are meant for us alone. These experiences sometimes even include a trip to a fake fiery hell that is meant to shape us up! And then, of course, we come back into our body, and we wake up. So, what can we assume but that we have died and then come back to life? But in fact, such a round trip to the afterlife is impossible, because the definition of death is the severing of the energy cord from your energy body to your material body that keeps your material body alive when you astral travel, which in fact we all often do, and nearly every night while our bodies sleep. And that silver cord cannot be re-attached, once it breaks. So, if some living person is able to tell you their NDE story, that person never has actually died! And they never have been to where the dead go. All of that being said, near-death experiences can be amazing, and many of them are life-transforming. And our guest today had his first transformative near-death experience when he was only three years old! Jacob Cooper is with us today on Seek Reality for the fifth time. One of the things that those who are part of our podcast family especially enjoy is hearing about special ways in which we can learn to communicate with people who have gone on ahead of us to the next plane of life. Jesus gave us two great spiritual lessons that are the core of the reason why we choose to be born on earth. We chose to be born so we can learn how to love more perfectly, and we choose to be born so we can ever better learn how to forgive! Learning those two lessons is what LIFE is all about! And it was not until just a few years ago, that I found a real forgiveness expert who taught forgiveness so well that I thought we could make her our Seek Reality GURU of forgiveness. That was when I met today’s guest. Until then, we would just talk about A Course in Miracles, which Jesus channeled to us in the nineteen-sixties. The miracle that Jesus taught in that thick blue book full of tiny print in A Course in Miracles is forgiveness. And Jesus tells us in A Course in Miracles that Forgiveness miracles all come in just one size. No matter what happens in our lives, we always must, and we can, forgive it. Whatever happens! Forgiving goes hand in hand with loving. And fortunately, Jesus’s method of automatic, prevenient forgiveness works very well indeed! But our guest today teaches another approach to forgiveness that might work even better for you. Our guest, who is with us today for the eighth time, is Brenda Reiss. Brenda is dedicated to helping people overcome obstacles that hold them back from living life to its fullest, by guiding them through a special 5-Step Forgiveness Process.
