What is it like to grow up in the home of heroin addicts? Who do you turn to when both of your parents are addicts? Does a child automatically become an addict when both parents are addicts? What is the destiny of these children?

This week’s show is all about thoughts, feelings, actions, when being raised by heroin addicts. Listen to Chanel, Denise’s guest, who tell’s us just what it was like for her and how it has shaped who she is.

In this show Denise hopes to show how important it is to support these children, no matter whose “toes” we need to step on to do it. There is no way these children can protect themselves while trying to love the only people they know are supposed to love them.
