Tobacco has been around a long time. In the past 10 to 20 years it has been discovered that Big Tobacco consciously added addictive properties to cigarettes since the 1950s in order to keep “lifetime” customers. Many experts believe that nicotine causes more dependence than any other drug including alcohol, cocaine, or heroin. What do you think? Do you smoke? This week’s topic is Smoking. Denise speaks with Eddie Salen, of Diversified Intervention Group, a non profit organization dedicated to helping addicts get on the road to recovery in an affordable way. The organization is a501(c)3 non-profit accepting donations for this cause.
