Hey y'all.  This episode I'm going over Gone to the Dogs by Emily Carmichael with a fine-toothed flea and tick comb.  This one's notable for a hero who personifies Toxic Masculinity.  Hooray!  The one where I just talk to my cats instead of just looking things up on Google.  If this book had a theme song, it would be "I'm Gonna Buy Me a Dog" by Duke Robillard.  Because that's what the heroine should have done.

I'm 90% convinced that puppy therapy could cure all society's ills.  The one where I discuss  "Demon Angel" by Meljean Brook, published by Penguin Books under the Berkley Sensations line.  In this episode, there's a lot of ranting about terrible decisions that were made at all levels, all the way up to a major publishing house.  Seriously, how could you do that to us the readers, Penguin Books?

How much coug could a cougar coug if a cougar could coug cougs?  The one where I discuss  "Accidentally Catty" by Dakota Cassidy.  In this episode, there's some gentle interlude music, I get to play with pitches during the Dramatic Re-Enactment, and have way,  way too much fun lambasting the book.  It's a little bit quieter than previous episodes as I was trying to cut down on background noise.

Remember when Britney Spears dancing with a bemused snake was edgy?  Sandra Hill does, and in "A Very Virile Viking" she would like to remind us that she still has her thumb on what's hot with kids in 2003!  Although who am I to judge, I basically lived in a cardboard box and was just getting spun up on this whole "grunge" phase.
