Addicted to the Needle

Warning: This one is weird. One thing will always be true. We will never pretend to be anything else but ourselves. Faults and all! But there's always one thing you can count on. Great 60s music you have probably never heard before!

This one is all about our newlywed trying his hand at making pasta in the old country while our travelling DJ brings his signature party vibes to Toronto. All of that is interspersed between some great Soul, Funk and Reggae records.

No 119 is a very emotional episode. Our addict is an open book and speaks from the heart. Our dealer saves the day with great 45s for sale. Music lift the spirits of everyone through Soul, Garage and 60s Pop.

Strap yourself in! You are about to embark on a musical and emotional roller coaster. Hearts are poured out with musical interludes that infuse some positive vibes in the conversation.

For the first time the roles are reversed! It's the dealer that owes the addict some dough. As payment, Ben offered Pat this incredibly rare French far-out psych record that has been on our addict's want list for ever. A mixed bag of other 50s and 60s goodness is also up for grabs.

This is part 2 of our wacky duo's epic road trip to New Jersey. They still have plenty of stories to recount; some about records they added to their collection, some about the wonderful people they met along the way and a few about the tasty food they ingested. Sprinkled through their tales are the unmistakable vinyl bombs they picked up.

Ben and Pat embark on an epic road trip to New Jersey to have a look the most important 45 collection to hit the market in years. To say that this was an overwhelming experience is an understatement. Our enthusiastic duo were so eager to share their journey that they recorded their tale in the car on the way back.

Our favorite duo is ready to start 2024 with a bang. Their pursuit for those musical gems down the deep vinyl well will not slow down this year. Back with a slight tan from his recent trip to Caya Coco, our addict Pat is eager to hear what our dealer has in store for him. Ever heard of the Carolina Shag? If not, Professor Ben will explain.

Plenty of surprises and games on this festive episode. Hot takes and strong opinions are debated. Will you agree with our dealer and our addict?

Our dealer and addict team up to go on a epic record pick. This is record digging folklore. A once in a lifetime opportunity. One for the ages! Did we hype this episode too much? You be the judge. A hodgepodge of Psych, Soul, Garage and RnB will leave you wanting more.
