What a great way to start 2023! Our dealer Ben has some choice platters for our addict Pat. He's in a dire need of a fix. A few bad jokes, some questionable segues and silly banter are all telltale signs that he needs some vinyl stat! On this very special episode, we have an addict like no other, the queen of the Toronto Soul scene, DJ Nico. Her successful 60s night With It has had the city stomping their feet for almost a decade. Back from the Keystone Northern Soul Weekender with some true 45 gems, our addict Patrick is intent on blowing our dealer's mind with a particular RnB slab of rare vinyl. Heading North on US I-87, our two addicts, Parka Pat and Mod Marty recount their few days of intense record digging and spinning 45s at the Keystone Northern Soul weekender. Competition to find the rare Soul gem was fierce. Like an old married couple, it's a miracle that they are still talking to each other.

What can our dealer Ben possibly bring back from a digging trip in faraway small towns in Nova Scotia, Canada? You'll be surprised. Our addict Pat is not only feeding his vinyl dependency but he is also gripped by his hi-fi equipment obsession. Northern Soul, Funk and Yé-Yé are all up for grabs on this one.

Our addict Patrick broke ranks and went digging on his own and expended his collection of Mod Revival 7". Does that mean he's all tapped out? Don't be silly. Of course not! Our dealer Ben has some choice 45s for sale. One rare Latin Boogaloo will render our dear addict speechless. 

Aside from his usual fix, our addict Pat needs to put his hands on some killer wax for two big upcoming gigs. He managed to strike a major Northern Soul anthem off his want list. Our dealer Ben will be put to the test, once again, on another edition of Name That Fake Moldie Oldie. Warning: A naughty Funk track will certainly raise some eyebrows!
