In today’s breakout, Shawn Clark shares his testimony of how the Lord saved Him from addiction. He looks at what Scripture has to say about addiction and how on some level we all struggle with it. The Bible calls addiction idolatry. When we don’t worship God we will worship something else.

The problem starts with our hearts. We were created to worship God alone. He knows you and nothing is hidden from Him. We will try to fill our needs with anything but God, yet the only source of true help is Jesus. We need the Gospel to rescue us daily. There’s help and hope from addiction and idolatry but it’s only in Jesus.
