  • FRI-K: (Malay Song) Alyah - Sesal Separuh Nyawa Cover ;

    For my international listeners, this is me singing in my Mother Tongue language: Malay.

    Its a song from an impeccable Malaysian artist, Alyah. And to direct translate: SESAL = Regret, SEPARUH = Half, NYAWA = Life. You just learned Malay, you're welcome.

    Its a song about missing a lover that you have let go of.

    Pardon the imperfections in my vocals.

    ENJOY!

  • OFFSIDE #15: Stupid "Cancel Culture", Jim Twins & Womanising Men ;

    Cancel culture is passion, abused. Ugh, I hate it. Like, what rights are you actually fighting for, when you are willing to put the person beside you in jeopardy?

    Also, since, comedy is slowly endangered and there's nothing left to joke about, I made an endearing joke about men. YAY!

    For my ladies, Jim Good Filth. Thank me later.

  • OFFSIDE #14: Compartmentalising The OLG Saga As A Human Being, A Woman, A Fellow Podcaster & A Part Of Society ;

    I hate labels. I really hate them. We, humans give power to it without realizing the weight.

    Communication is a 2-way model. What you say, can be used with or against you at any point of time.

    I was so affected because I didn't want to see the day, that masses would misconstrue the magic in podcasting in a negative light. Also, I know how much good intentions & hard work go into podcasting, hence, I feel for the trio. As a woman, I also know how trigger words can trip me back to memory lane of a haunted past. This is more than evident why compartmentalizing is critical.

    I said this once and I'll say it again in a positive light, content creators are never content. Myself, included. That's why we started on this journey because we want to project that belief in our heads that we can bring something bigger & better to the table.

    However, curating your content to the degree of compromising your creativity is a very, very slippery slope. I've been there so many times.

    I almost got into hot soup for this but, "You can dislike Michael Jackson, but you can love his music too". I'll stop copywriting now so you can enjoy this episode.

  • OFFSIDE #13: George Floyd, Let's Not Be Complacent Singaporeans & Personal Good Muslim/Bad Muslim Experience

    What didn't happen around us, doesn't mean it won't happen to us. A good friend always advised me in Malay," Jangan Cakap Sudah" to anything in life.

    We're a multicultural country that continues to strive against race discrimination, individually, but in no way are our lives jeopardized throughout the journey.

    Also, I'm sharing my personal experience of overcoming religious ivory towers goers just because, I don't come from a pious family and because, I had a history.

  • FRI-K: Dua Lipa, Pretty Please Cover

    Lockdown. Got bored, love singing but can't go out to karaoke with my best friends, so my platform became my victim, shamelessly.

    Its Friday, let down your hair. Sing along.

    Can't get enough of Dua Lipa's new album.

  • Ep. 17: Non-Verbal Communication; The Badasses Who Discovered Sign Language Literally Owns The Middle Finger

    While we get caught in the lockdown, what about people with disabilities? Are we gonna count them out?

    The Deaf or Hard of Hearing has always been strong in my head when I first wanted to start ADOSSIER.

    The least I can do as of now is learn their language & let the world know, that ignorance is a choice. It is not bliss.

    Why ask them to conform to "norms", when we can learn their language?

    I hate Aristotle & I can't curse him because, I was recording this during the fasting month. Ooh, its gonna get awkward without profanities.

  • OFFSIDE #12: Benefits Of A Melancholy Eid, Spark AR Studio & Help Migrant Workers ;
    EID MUBARAK, SWEETHEARTS! AYEE TO ALL TH HOT KAKAK KEBAYA & ABANG HANDSOME BUT ALIM IN KURTAS(I LIKE!).
    Amidst the lockdown, amidst the pang of loneliness, we get to dodge annoying trivial questions that the elderly might think are icebreakers. Okay, boomers.
    Tune in to find out what are the best memories of Eid, in Singapore, how I did an Instagram AR questionnaire & how to assist the current condition of migrant workers in Singapore.
