गाँधी जयंती

भारत की धरती पर जन्मे ऐसे अनमोल रतन जिसने न केवल भारत को अंग्रेज़ो से आज़ाद कराया बल्कि सत्य, अहिंसा व शांति के बल से परिचित कराया।

ऐसे महापुरुष का जन्म 2 अक्टूबर, सन् 1869 मे पोरबंदर, गुजरात नामक शहर में हुआ।

उनका पूरा नाम मोहनदास करमचंद गाँधी था, सारा संसार उन्हे महात्मा गाँधी के नाम से जानता है।

महात्मा गाँधी को राष्ट्र पिता कहते हैं और प्यार से ‘बापू’ पुकारा जाता है।

गाँधी जयंती, 2 अक्टूबर को राष्ट्रीय छुट्टी होती है।

यह दिन एक खास व्यक्ति के मूल्यों का दिन है।

जहा भारत के राष्ट्रपति, प्रधान मंत्री व अन्य मंत्री उनकी समाधि, राजघाट पर श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करते हैं व भक्ति गीत गाए जाते है।

स्कूलो में छुट्टी के बावजूद भी बच्चो को उनके विचार, सिद्धांत व योगदान के बारे मे ज्ञान दिया जाता है।

और उन पर अमल करने कि राह बताई जाती है।

गाँधी जी की तस्वीर हर पुलिस स्टेशन, सरकारी कार्यालय, विद्यालय, न्यायालय व कॉर्पोरेट कंपनियो मे दिखाई जाती है जो अहिंसा, प्रेम व सत्य कि राह पर चलने का संकेत देती है।

उन्होने हमेशा विदेशी वस्तु का विरोध किया व स्वदेशी पर बल दिया।

उन्होने लोगो को चरखा इस्तमाल करने के लिए व खादी कपड़ा पहनने को प्रेरित किया और ग़रीबी को ध्यान मे रखते हुए लघु उद्योगो को बढ़ावा दिया।

और आज भी उनकी प्रतिमा हर मेले व प्रदर्शनी मे दिखाई देती है जहाँ खादी से बनी चीज़े जैसे शॉल, कोट, साड़ी आदि कि बिक्री होती है।

गाँधी जी सभी धर्मो का आदर करते थे और हिंदू मुस्लिम सिख ईसाई आपस में है भाई भाई का कथन सब देश वासियो को दिया करते थे।<

S16> उनकी प्रसिद्ध उक्ति है- 'ईश्वर अल्ला तेरे नाम! सबको सन्मति दे भगवान!'

वे सादा जीवन व उच्च विचार के प्रतिमूर्ति थे।

सत्य और अहिंसा के पुजारी थे।

ऐसा अनमोल रत्न भारत कि मिट्टी पर एक अमर विभूति है।

जो विश्व पटल पर सिर्फ़ एक नाम ही नही अपितु शांति और अहिंसा का प्रतीक है।

Gandhi Jayanti

A precious gem who was born in the land of India, not only took freedom from the British against India but also introduced them to the strength of truth, nonviolence, and peace.

Such a great soul was born on 2nd October, 1869, in the town named Porbandar, Gujarat.

His full name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and the whole world knows him as Mahatma Gandhi.

Mahatma Gandhi is the "Father of the Nation" and is affectionately called "Bapu."

Gandhi Jayanti, October 2nd, is a national holiday.

It's a day to value a special person.

India's president, prime minister, and other ministers visit Samadhi, Rajghat to pay homage to him and patriotic songs are sung.

Despite the holiday in schools, children are shown the ideas, values, views, and contributions of Gandhi,

and taught how to use them in their lives.

The picture of Gandhi-ji is placed in every police station, government office, school, court and corporate company, to show people to follow on the path of non-violence, love, and truth.

He always opposed foreign materials and emphasized on vernacular things.

He exhorted the people to use charkha (spinning wheel) and to wear the khadi clothes, and keeping the poverty in mind he promoted small scale industries.

Today his image is visible in every fair and exhibition, where things made from khadi like shawls, coats, saris, etc are being sold.

Gandji-ji respected all religions and the statement "Hindu Muslim Sikh Isai, aapas mein hain bhai bhai" ("Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or Christian, we are all brothers.") was given to all the Indians of the country.

His famous dictum is "Ishwar Allah tere naam! Sabko sanmati de bhagwan!" (Ishwar and Allah are both Your names! Please give everyone good sense!).

He believed in simple living and high thinking.

He was the priest of truth and nonviolence.
