Pliny Kyle, and Daniel have some laughs while Kyle tells his hunting story where he doubled up on whitetail on a morning hunt from the ground in central Texas during general season. This is at least the third time Kyle has shot a double since he has been hunting whitetail deer.

We recap day two of our hunting camp (In the late morning of day 3). Unfortunately Daniel didn't see anything all day. Pliny has a doe kill that didn't go as planned, and Kyle shoots at a big buck!

I focus on how I set it up, the ammo, optic, and sling that I use, and why this is a great combination for my style of hunting. I have been bow hunting for the last few weeks, but it is now time to turn my attention to my trusted boom stick and put some more deer meat in the freezer.

Kyle joins Adventure One to talk all about hunting, including writing our annual hunting goals for the 2019 and 2020 season. By starting late we end up writing a few items that have already been accomplished, but we definitely have our work cut out for us! We also discuss how hunting has changed for us in Michigan.

I got back from Idaho and went to test my bow before the Texas archery opener. When I went to test my bow, my peep fell out. This quick story is about turning a last minute equipment failure into confidence when heading into the field.
