In this episode, I tell the story about my recent trip down to my south Texas deer lease. I put in a solid day's work filling feeders, fixing fences, messing with trail cameras, and setting up a new bowhunting stand. If you have scouting to do before deer season, or you still have some summer property prep work, hopefully this inspires you to get out an get it done, while giving you a few ideas for your own hunting spot. I can't wait until whitetail archery season this October.

After returning from a recent hiking trip in Idaho's beautiful Sawtooth Wilderness, the crew (Pliny, Jonathan, Melody, Natalie, Alex, and Philip) reflect on a potentially life-threatening (possibly HACE, High-altitude cerebral edema) emergency in the mountains.

Happy Independence Day to my fellow American outdoorsmen! I wanted to take a few minutes to reflect on the meaning of Independence Day. It is great to have a day away from work, but the root of independence day means much more. Think about your liberties and freedoms - how you are expressing them, or letting them fall away. Think on what it means to be independent and to be free. I wish you a wonderful holiday. Stay safe, be free, and never stop seeking adventure!

My goals were to build a box blind for rifle season and to build a feeder setup, designed to feed corn and protein through the summer - of course with cameras on it the whole time. In this episode, I discuss my plans and tactics, and tell the story of my recent trip.

In this short episode, I discuss reason for hunting coyotes from both a sporting perspective and a view on conservation and assisting ranchers. Coyote hunting can be very challenging and equally beneficial when applied appropriately.
