Well...this is a little awkward.....we took a week break that turned into a month and a half...and we're a bit out of practice. BUT we're back to ramble on about the upcoming Netflix show Shadow and Bone and the books it's adapted from.

We also chat about life updates and the Golden Globes (most briefly).

Bridgerton is now the 5th most watched Netflix original (according to Netflix) and has already been renewed for a second season. We go off book a little to chat about what we liked and what we SUPER didn't like about the show.

It was all about the friends you made along the way to rescue Baby Yoda. 

Mando and friends overcame a lot to get Baby Yoda back, including: plot devices, jammed guns, no one reading the footnotes about how the Dark Saber worked, killer droids with no thought of concussion protocols, and Mof Gideon's speeches.

Oh, and then a Skywalker showed up (did we think we'd really get a whole show without a single Skywalker? Silly Stef)

We're all here for Mando on a mission to save Baby Yoda, sorry, Grogu, and to see Pedro Pascal's face! An action packed episode that's setting us up for even more action to come.

Disney dropped A LOT of info on us. We discuss what we know so far (and how we feel) about the heap of new Star Wars shows and movies, which we're excited about, and which we're SUPER excited about. We then got super off track and chatted about movies, John Boyega, politics, the state of America, you know, classic stuff. 

We talked long enough that this became it's own pod, so Mando 2x07 tomorrow!

The long anticipated moment has come, but suprisingly we didn't exactly agree on this episode. Stef wasn't thrilled, while Chess was all in. We discuss the arrival and portrayal of Ahsoka Tano, ponder whether or not the series is getting too bogged down in lore and connections to the animated stories, and get excited for Admiral Thrawn.
