Look - any show that starts with the Blue-Eyed Battler and Ends with The Supervisor of a Logging Camp can’t be anything less than Must See TV, right?

As we approach the next AEW pay-per-view, Rev-OLD-lution (because of all the old people wrestling, you see? I GOT A DEGREE IN ENGLISH HOW DARE YOU MOCK MY WORDPLAY), there’s a lot to be wary of and a lot to be grateful for.

Nyla Rose vs. Britt Baker is a killer match, possibly even better than the 20-minute Archer vs. Fenix, which is absolutely phenomenal. Mox opens the show putting the boots to Hot Young Briley- er, Ryan Nemeth - and Team Taz lays into the Varsity Blondes (YES I’M ADDING THE ‘E’ I HAVE A DEGREE IN ENGLISH) before they get laid out by Sting and the Heartbreak Kid- er, Darby Allin on a zip line. Really great stuff!

Well, if you've heard the last few episodes, you know we're going to unreservedly recommend you watch this show. Jon Moxley (former AEW champion, current IWGP United States champion) gives a hell of a performance in the main event that's still only the second or third best match on the show and it looks like he'll be facing off against the bookerman Josh Barnett in Bloodsport 6 tentatively titled "A Celebration of Violet by Hole" (we assume).

You head will ASPLODE with the craziness this episode of Dynamite delivers! From the high-speed opening match to the bonkers intensity of the closer and the next-level madness of Omega picking a stipulation for his match with Mox - it’s out of control.

Also, someone thought a gender reveal segment was a good idea. Eh, can’t win ‘em all.

Eddie Kingston’s in top form. Kenny Omega is off the charts. Serena Deeb and Riho tear it up like they’re on a bus and if the match goes below 4 stars, it’ll blow up. PLUS a very old man takes a powerbomb and it’s basically Mae Young Redux 2021. SHEER LUNACY, I TELL YOU!

Taking a quick detour to talk about Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 4! On the heels of Jon Moxley’s announcement that he’ll be at Bloodsport 5 (next week!), we prepared by watching the show to figure out just what it is … and were blown away! If you’re curious, it’s well worth your time!

There’s AT LEAST one PPV-level match in this thing, maybe more. You want mad, crosspromotional brawls? We got ‘em! You want a hard-hitting women’s match? Got that too! You want Marvez wandering golf courses begging for rides? IT’S ALL THERE.

This is what the kids* refer to as a “banger”. Great wrestling top to bottom; great comedy front to back. There was that one weird triple splash move from Kenny and the Good Brothers - which happened during the picture in picture that they felt like they had to repeat for some reason? - but not even that could stop this train from barreling its way towards success!

Just like the sign in Britt Baker’s office reads (I think - they never focus enough to see it clearly): Work. Learn. Worry. Have. Laugh. Always.
