James 5:19-20 

James deals with restoring a believer back to the truth of God's Word as it relates to the way he or she is living. We should have the desire and compassion to restore fellow believers  in their walk with Christ.

James 5:13-18

In this passage James deals with the issue of prayer. Prayer is a means that God has given to the believer and engaging in prayer brings about change. How's your prayer life?

The oppression of the poor is an injustice God takes very seriously. In this passage, James warns the rich who are cheating their workers out of due pay that they will be severely judged. As Christians, we need to be sure we are always treating people with equity and respect. The believer above all should be showing the example of what loving others and treating people fairly looks like.

“If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”  James 4:15 

God freely allows us to plan accordingly for the lives we set out to live. However, there is a point we can cross into a sense of arrogance and autonomy. We forget too easily that there is a life that is both pleasing to God and satisfactory to us.

As believers of the Word and representatives of Christ it is essential we treat each other with love and respect. Spreading unfounded truths and slandering one another is evil. When we do judge, we must speak the truth in love or else we are going against God's law.

James 4:7 "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Pastor Ron shares this verse's instructions on how to fight against Satan's attacks.

"Do not bank your eternity on myths."

On Easter Sunday, we look at several passages on the truth of our existence. If Jesus of Nazareth was truly Christ, then God is real. If God is real, what does He want of us, His creation?

Pastor Ron leads us through Matthew 21 where Jesus enters the city riding on a donkey. The people of Israel expected Jesus to save them from the Romans, however Jesus came with a greater mission in mind.
