Hawthorn ruck, Lucy Wales, played a standout role in the team’s eight-point win over Port Adelaide on Sunday in Frankston.
 
The 20-year-old notched up a career-high 20 disposals comprising of 10 kicks, 10 handballs, six tackles and 14 hit-outs. 
 
In only her second season Wales is averaging 10 possessions a game and nearly 16 hit-outs as well as 64 AFLW Fantasy points.
 
Since being selected by the Hawks with pick 22 in the 2022 AFLW draft and making her debut in Round 1, Wales has notched up 18 games including eight this year.
