On this weeks episode, our very own co-hosts takes the mice to talk about her very own clothing line- KHATTOI, a company focused on providing sustainable, everyday South Asian clothing.
Fresh out of her most recent "Block Printing" line, we talk about the juxtaposition of starting a sustainable clothing business. Rhea also talks about her journey of being an entrepreneur and the learning curve that comes with it. She says, "My goal is to revolutionize South Asian apparel in the global market. With that comes celebrating the story of the Indian culture into Khattoi's clothing".
Khattoi was born in 2021 in Dallas, USA, as Rhea began to pick up on discrepancies from the quality, design, lack of assortment of choice and lack of sustainable practices in the American South Asian garment market. Inspired by her zeal to infuse her culture into her every day life, she incepted "Khattoi". Bridging the gap between the east and the west, her ambition is to educate the masses on South Asian clothing, as well as sustainability.
