...the Leipzig based DJ & producer Marc DePulse is one of these rare artists, who found his roots in the early childhood while taking lessons in accordeon, later finishing his A - Levels in music and joining the school choir for about 7 years (to keep the truth: his interest was not to sing - just looking for the girls;) ). In this time, 1999, he got in touch first with music production. Contrary to most other Djs, Marc started playing clubmusic on vinyl three years later. Infact digital outputs will be the future medium the next years. But for the Leipzig based producer Marc DePulse vinyl will stay the main medium, because on the one hand he loves to save the 12' feeling on the floor and the black beauty alive. Although the numbers of sales degrease from month to month - and Mp3 grows and grows, Marcs' intention is to establish a live-act in the upcoming months. Going step to step Marc is now taking off into the next generation. With his debut single feature with Holgi Star on Kiddaz.FM Records and the next outputs on PM Music, BluFin and Bondage music he shows a huge sound spectrum combined in several expressions of minimal electronic music - always being up to date with the dancefloor. Supported by Stephan Bodzin, Markus Kafka and many more Marcs follow-up single on Ostwind Records 'Ferner Liefen EP' is ready to start in the early December 2008. Touched by sounds of Spektre, Super Flu, Dubfire, Marascia or Popof, Marc did release his first mix-CD which appeared in october 2008 on ZYX Music. ...Bolczak & Bronco.Although the two young DJs from around Munich just started their project in autmn last year, they can already exhibit some achievements. In addition to several appearances in various clubs and the support of Holland's favorite – Bakermat – at „Musikkantine Augsburg“, they prevailed in the contest for this year's Echelon Open Air, the biggest electronic music festival in Bavaria, against 350 competitors.

But that's not enough for Bolczak and Bronco. Besides their gigs and regularly appearing sets on their Soundcloud page, that are always designed with loads of love and muse, they are currently working on their own releases and edits, for which they get their inspiration by all kinds of artists and genres.

Their very first preview is presented exclusively here on Afterhour Sounds. We're looking forward to hearing a lot more from Bolczak & Bronco aka DKR.

Here´s our 18th Podcast mixed by...

...Florian Paetzold, born in 1986 in the small town of Halberstadt in Germany. He was enthusiastic about music from an early age; at 14 years old he began playing the guitar.

This enthusiasm for music developed slowly in the direction of electronic dance music. In 2000 Florian attended some of his first "Techno"-Parties. The positive energy of the partygoers, the extravagant music and with it that rhythmical, driving beat, captured Florian's imagination.

Shortly thereafter in 2002, Florian bought himself his first records along with the necessary gear, and with all his focus, started to throw down some tracks under the name "P.C.I".

In 2004 he discovered his passion for the software program Propellerhead Reason and began to produce Hip Hop and Electro / House.

More projects followed, such as in 2008: "The Masked Nerdz" in which he produced Electro Rave along with three other lads from Bielefeld. And then in 2012: "Noize4All" which he did with a friend from Erfurt.

Then on the 11th November 2012, his current project was born under the name: Florian Paetzold! He is personally very proud of this project and is putting his full love of music into it.

His remix of "Sunday Girl - Where Is My Mind" was voted among the Top 100 Edits in the trndmusik.de charts for 2012!

2013 will be yet another year full of new music. There are releases planned, as wells as edits and remixes!

Here is our 17th Podcast mixed by....

...AirDice from Döbeln, Germany.

Looking back in 2008 it´s surprisingly how he disvoered his love for mixing house& electronic music. A usual visit in his friends´ garden was the cause for his sudden interest in music and the dream to make his own sounds. Thus the 16 year old Michel Krause started his project AirDice. He never has imagined that his dream would come true, but in 2010 he won a DJ-Contest in Frauendorf, Germany. Since then he got more and more contacts, requests and dates to play liveshows.

Next to numerous gigs, he began to make his own remixes of different songs (Samba Palma, Tu Bie....).

Meanwhile AirDice found his own style. That´s what makes his gigs so special and makes every one shaking his legs.

And it´s still not over. Further productions (e.g. with Küche 80)and remixes (e.g. for Mat Lennox ) will be released soon. Stay tuned!
