Is there a part of your house that you usually only see in dim light? What happens when you’re there and there’s more sunlight? You probably see how much dust and dirt is covering things. You think, “Wow, I need to clean this place!” In today’s message, Pastor Terry will challenge you to let the light of Jesus shine all over your life. You may expose some dirt and dust in your life, but that’s good. God will come in and clean you up. Then you can live a clean, fresh, light, and joy-filled life.

We all have to get over that picture we have of God up in heaven marking down our good deeds and bad deeds, don’t we? When we mess up we think we have to be on our best behavior and do some acts of kindness to make up for it, but that’s not how it works. Nothing we do could ever measure up to God’s standard. In his message today, Pastor Terry will remind you that God isn’t keeping score. Jesus met God’s standard, and if you put your faith in Jesus, God won’t condemn you. All He has is love for you.

Sometimes it seems we hope for just a taste of God’s goodness, don’t we? We hope He will provide a little bit of His presence to sustain us, so we can just get by. God wants you to have so much more than that. In today’s message, Pastor Terry will encourage you with the truth that God pours out living water for you. His Spirit is gushing out. There is abundant life available to you. All you have to do is make yourself available to receive it. Expect and know that God wants to fill you with His presence.

We all know what it feels like to be thirsty, don’t we? It can come to a point where we are almost desperate for water, and when we take a drink, it’s so satisfying. In his message today, Pastor Terry will teach that you were designed to have that same thirst for a relationship with God. Are you thirsting for God? Do you wake up with a desire to hear from Him and know Him more? He is available. Jesus says He is the living water. You can come and take a drink from Him. Come and be satisfied in relationship with God.

The great thing about the love of Jesus is that He doesn’t care about the sins of your past. You have already been forgiven and absolved of the things you did before you came to faith in Christ. He sees you as a child who He bought and paid for with His blood. You don’t have to fear judgment or rejection from God; He already gave up His own Son to restore a relationship with you. Today, Pastor Terry wants you to know that you’re not just another speck in the face of eternity; you are a beloved child of God.

Why is it that the hardest people to reach are always those closest to you? Maybe the people you grew up around - know what your life used to be like, and they think that it’s just a matter of time until you fall back into your old ways of living. Well, today, Pastor Terry encourages you to keep praying for your close friends and family who don’t know the Lord, and that they may see the transforming work of Jesus in your life. You may be the best example they get to see of true Christian faith.

If you turn to any cable news channel, you’ll be bombarded with dozens of reasons to despair for the fate of the world in a matter of minutes. It’s so easy to worry about what is going on around you. But yet, today, Pastor Terry reminds you that your peace doesn’t come from the world, or from your fellow man. Instead, your peace ought to come from remembering that Jesus died for you. No matter what happens in the world, you can be assured that you have been bought and paid for by the Creator of the universe.

We’ve all heard the saying that it’s more blessed to give than to receive. And our culture values people who give of their time and resources to be generous to others. You may know people in your own life who have made sacrifices in order to help you. But as Pastor Terry reminds us today, nobody has ever given the gift that God the Father gave. So, keep your heart and mind centered on this truth: God offered His own Son, Jesus, to give you what you could not find or earn on your own.

Our culture has its definitions of who is living the “great life”. To some, it’s the wealthiest people, and to others, it’s the most famous. There are plenty of advertisers who will tell you how their product will make you truly happy and satisfied. But, as Pastor Terry reminds us today, success on earth will never bring the abundant life that God created us to live. When you are living your life in the love of Christ, seeking His will, and centering your worth on Him, you will experience God’s best.  

How many people seek God – when they are in a time of physical need? It may be a sickness or a financial setback. Possibly a problem in the family, or at the workplace. At those times, many people think of calling upon God for help. As Pastor Terry shares today, the same thing happened during Jesus’s earthly ministry. People often came for their physical needs, not their spiritual needs. Of course, you should come to Jesus for all of your needs. Just be sure that your spiritual needs are at the forefront.
